Early Intervention

The early intervention program from The Industrial Athlete addresses the causes of symptoms. Through early intervention, we prevent minor discomforts from becoming major injuries. Helping your workforce understand wellness, self-care and injury prevention reinforces a positive safety culture to help avoid and recover from minor discomforts.

• Our early intervention program includes pre-shift stretching to reduce muscle fatigue and strain. The Industrial Athlete will design a pre-shift stretching program specific to the demands of your workforce in order to prepare them for the rigors of the daily job task.

• The Injury Prevention System (TIPS) addresses musculoskeletal deficiencies. A major cause of aches and pains are caused by overly tight, overly stretched or weak muscles. TIPS is a wellness and injury prevention approach focused on improving your employees health.

• Our ergonomics program focuses on the environment, the forces acting on the body, and the individual’s intrinsic factors that pose a potential risk for increased injury. Our healthcare provider will help mitigate those risks by preventing injury before it can occur.
